Jeni Smith - Peterborough
My entrance to the nail industry happened by accident when a friend fell out with her nail tech and she wanted me to polish her nails and do some freehand nail art. From that moment I was hooked. I initially trained in May 2007 at the age of 32 and converted to other companies before finding salon geek and being introduced to CND. It was love at first use. I got to know the amazing Gigi Rouse who in June 2010 gave me the kick up the backside I needed to undertake my masters and apply for Bootcamp. The day after I passed my masters I had an email to say I had been accepted and I passed Bootcamp in May 2011 winning 3 awards. I am passionate about the industry I work in and I’m am living proof that you can have a career change at any age, you are never too old. I feel so lucky to finally do something I love on a daily basis and love sharing my passion with likeminded individuals, I am very privileged to be able to give back all the help and support that I have been given on my journey.
